These pages came from Sion Holley (1830-1909) Bible and have the birth dates of all of his children. The first three children died near Mount Enterprise in Rusk county, Texas.
The Bible had some writing in it done by Sion's youngest daughter, Lula Holley (1893-1916). Her daughter had no other example of her mother's handwriting. The Bible was in the possession of Sion's grandson, Elza Monroe Holley, and he gave it to her, after removing the pages with the family entries.
